For individuals, couples, and families experiencing the ending of a relationship.
Circles are born out of ancient practice which creates a sacred place for honest and respectful communication in community. Circles are a place to express your doubts, uncertainties, and possibilities in the face of changing relationships.
Circles of Caring:
- Honor the past and promote healing
- Recognize the transition you and those close to you are experiencing
- Normalize the ending of a relationship
- Allow for an honest dialogue
- Help you find new ways to manage change
Conflict and the end of a relationship touch many people. Rarely do you have the opportunity to openly discuss feelings and concerns with those to whom you are connected.
How a Circle works:
- Lasts approximately three hours
- Is facilitated by trained “Circle Keepers”
- Always includes an opening and a closing
- Combines experiential and sharing activities
- Is not based on any religious tradition
- Can create a supportive environment but is not a support group
